Karas Kustoms INK
18 December 2013
I’ve come close to ordering or backing Karas Kustoms pens many times in the past but, being in the UK, shipping and customs charges make them really expensive. From what I’ve read about them they are probably worth it but given the choice between spending that kind of money on a fountain pen or spending it on something that isn’t a fountain pen, a fountain pen is going to win every time.
It turns out that what I was waiting for was the INK. I am completely going for the orange one, you will be shocked to hear. I can’t wait to finally get my hands on a Karas Kustoms pen.
To read an excellent review by someone who’s been lucky enough to have had one for a while, head over to Ed Jelley. If that doesn’t convince you, nothing will.
Not convinced I’m a big fan. I certainly appreciate the mechanic_nist (sp?) of them and the fact they are made in America but the style just doesn’t strike me. Hope you pull the trigger soon and fill your want.
Yes they’re quite opinionated in their style aren’t they, not everyone’s cup of tea. Being British the Made in the USA thing doesn’t make much of a difference for me but I’m a sucker for orange pens and for independent businesses. I’d get the whole range in orange if I could afford to, to be honest.
