Cerne Abbey (sketch)16 October 2015
Cerne Abbey was founded in 987 and closed in 1539. The ruins are set in beautiful grounds and the village of Cerne Abbas couldn’t be more typically English, famous though it is for something entirely different. (Possibly NSFW, theoretically, although it’s 180 feet high on a Dorset hill so it’s hard to avoid around here.)
Ink and watercolour
Good use of colour Ian
Gorgeous Sketch! You are such a talented artist!! Thank you for sharing!
Really nice. I especially enjoy the texture of the little tree, and the details on the stone wall.
