I have a very exciting week coming up! Last year was going to be the year I really made an effort to get my pictures into some exhibitions but, for some reason, that didn’t quite work out. This year is still rather strange, as we all know, but things here in the UK are starting to open up a bit. Somehow this has resulted in me being in three exhibitions this week.
Today is the delayed Twitter Art Exhibition. This is a large exhibition of postcard-sized original art being sold in aid of charity. It was started by David Sandum in 2010 and has taken place in various locations around the world. This year it’s in Cheltenham, for today only, between 2pm and 5pm. Fortunately the exhibition will then move online from Tuesday 6 July.

Also starting on Tuesday is the Society of Graphic Fine Art’s annual open exhibition. I was selected for this last year but it had to be cancelled. I applied again this year and was fortunately selected. This exhibition is already online but the physical exhibition is at Mall Galleries from Tuesday 6 July until Sunday 11 July. It’s free entry but you have to book a ticket in advance due to Covid protocols. If you visit the online exhibition you’ll find my picture in the Drawing on Paper section.

I have another picture in an exhibition starting on Wednesday 7 July. This is being run by Mall Galleries and the Federation of British Artists but is online-only. It’s called Figurative Art Now and it runs until 20 September.
