Zebra Drafix mechanical pencil review
8 September 2014The Zebra Drafix is a mechanical pencil available in 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9mm versions. Each size has a different coloured ring – this 0.5mm version has a red ring, as you can perhaps tell.
This Zebra Drafix ticks all the right boxes: low cost; eraser; long fine lead sleeve; grade indicator; size indicator; and metal clip.
However.
The plastic feels completely cheap and horrible. This is a very cheap pencil but, honestly, it felt so bad I never ever wanted to pick this pencil up to use.
There are few other pencils in this price range that tick this number of boxes but I would suggest you either spend a little more or settle for fewer features and get something that is good to hold and write with.
Many thanks to Cult Pens for sponsoring this post. I tried not to let their generosity influence my views. (I think you can tell that they didn’t.) You can buy this pencil direct from Cult Pens here.
What are the other pencils you said that tick the boxes? This pencil looks great, but I’d have to order from Japan. I’m interested in heading about options
