Canary Wharf
This was a very quick charcoal sketch from ages ago but I’ve been on a few training courses near to Canary Wharf recently so I was reminded of it. Charcoal is so much fun. Messy and direct and it reminds me of being a kid at school.

Nothe Fort was built in 1872 at the cost of £120 000 to protect Weymouth and Portland from nasty foreigners. It’s not very pretty (it’s a fort, after all) but the views are stunning. This was another picture drawn with Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens and the Platinum Fude Brush Pen.
I’ve really been enjoying trying out different brush pens recently. I did the black lines and areas in this picture with a Platinum Fude Brush Pen and then coloured it with Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens. Full reviews of both should be appearing here soon(wish).
Here’s Frankie’s friend. I don’t know his name or even if he’s a he. But he’s a thoughtful horse and I really enjoyed sketching him.
Here’s Frankie, a horse I sketched for a friend of a friend.
