Starting Again (Sketch)

Since my last visit here, almost three months ago, I’ve left the career I’d been in since leaving university (a quarter of a century ago), moved house, and started something completely new. That’s my excuse for the lack of posts.

The completely new something is running a guest house by the sea and this is a picture of it. It’s an old Georgian town house, built in the 1820s, in the town of Weymouth. Weymouth is famous for being the place where the Black Death entered Great Britain but don’t let that put you off. In more recent years it hosted the sailing events for the London Olympics and it’s a lovely seaside town in a stunningly beautiful area.

I plan on posting some reviews here over the coming months (starting on Monday) but it might be a little eratic over the summer. Once winter arrives I can pick up a regular schedule again.
