SPONSOR: Spotlight Stationery
18 September 2016Many thanks to Spotlight Stationery for once again sponsoring Pens! Paper! Pencils! this month. Spotlight Stationery are a UK-based company that will send you a subscription box every month (or every two months if you prefer). With every box they make a donation to National Star, a charity working with young people with disabilities and acquired brain injuries.
This month’s theme is “Buildings and skylines”. There are two notebooks with architecturally inspired covers, a greetings card, a bookmark and, finally, two Uni-Ball pens with tenuous but fun links to buildings. There’s the Eye (as in, the London Eye), which is a good needlepoint rollerball pen; and the Air, which allegedly looks a little like the Gherkin, and is an interesting pen with a different kind of tip.
Once again this is an interesting selection of products, many of which I hadn’t tried before.
As well as these products, Spotlight Stationery have included, as they do every month, a set of wonderful postcards. This month these are all by students from Spotlights Stationery’s chosen charity, National Star. They’re absolutely fantastic.
If this has whetted your appetite then head over now and use the special code PPP15 to get 15% off your first box.
Are Spotlight Stationery’s products fountain pen friendly?
They send out different items every month and not all are fountain pen friendly although many are. For example last month they had a Rhodia theme.
