Description

Corfe Castle was built by the Normans a thousand years ago and was one of their more important castles. It was destroyed during the English civil wars but remains a prominent landmark in the beautiful south Dorset countryside.

I grew up near here and continue to visit it often. I love how it’s been such focus for people for such a long time.
