This is Mac, one of the most beautiful dogs in the world. He lives here, in Italy, and has a pretty good life chasing the local wildlife and dozing in the sun.
I drew this as part of my Portray Your Pet project, using Tombow Mono 100 and Mitsu-bishi Hi-Uni pencils on Daler Rowney 160gsm cartridge paper.

Stunning portrait, Ian! I have just recently started sketching more with graphite, and the Hi-Uni is my favorite line of pencils. So soft, smooth and quiet! I can sketch stealthily in public. 😉
