ink Ink Review J. Herbin Vert Pre Ink Review 26 May 2015 By ian J. Herbin Vert Pre (grass green) is an incredibly joyful and pretty ink. It’s quick to dry and, unusually for J. Herbin, very wet flowing. It’s got some lovely shading going on, too. Here I am doodling the Inkling. This is a beautiful ink. Reply Peninkcillin says: 14 June 2015 at 00:27 I did my own review of Vert Pre recently and found, pretty much, the same as you http://peninkcillin.blogspot.com/2015/05/j-herbin-vert-pre-ink-review.html I do think that J Herbin has several very wet inks though. Reply ian says: 14 June 2015 at 18:08 Nice review! Which other Herbin inks have you found to flow well? Reply Peninkcillin says: 14 June 2015 at 19:38 Well, most of them flow well but the really watery ones that I didn’t like are Diabolo Menthe and Bleu Azur. They’re waaay too watery and soak into the paper so you need to write on high quality stuff if you want to prevent that.
