The 119th open exhibition of the Bath Society of Artists began on Sunday and runs until 11th January. It’s at the Victoria Art Gallery in the heart of Bath, a wonderful space with a lot of fantastic art.
This is the third year I’ve had work in this exhibition. This year it’s All the Things You Are. It feels good to have a picture in an exhibition again after a barren summer.
(A miniature version of this picture was at the SGFA exhibition in London earlier this year.)
The exhibition has a good mix of work, including sculpture, several drawings, and lots of paintings in all styles. I can’t possibly include photos of all the pictures I loved but here are just a few of my favourites.
If you get the opportunity to go it’s well worth a visit. There is a charge to go in but I think it’s worth it. If you can’t make it to Bath, all the work is online.
