Art4Action Christmas Charity Auction

Art4Action is a charity that sells work online and at art fairs with the aim of donating at least 25% of all sales to Dorset charities. It’s run by a husband and wife team (Malcolm and Julie) with help from their children Sophie and Matthew. They don’t take anything from it themselves despite it taking up huge amounts of their time.

This year they’re running an online Christmas auction to raise money for Not Just Sundaes, a community cafe in Wareham. Wareham is a beautiful little town in south Dorset (and happens to be where I grew up) and the cafe not only does great work, it serves excellent food.

There are 236 lots in the auction! There is every kind of art, for any budget. I have 7 pictures in the Drawing section, all with starting bids significantly below their usual prices. However, don’t worry if you aren’t tempted by one of mine (although I’d love it if you were!). There’s so much there, for such a good cause, it’s most definitely worth spending some time having a good look.
