Many thanks to Spotlight Stationery for once again sponsoring Pens! Paper! Pencils! this month. Spotlight Stationery are a UK-based company that will send you a subscription box every month (or every two months if you prefer). With every box they make a donation to National Star, a charity working with young people with disabilities and acquired brain injuries, and they also go out of their way to promote young illustrators by including a selection of postcards featuring their work.
Their third month had a French theme, one I can fully get behind. It included see Calepino pencils and a pen, as well as a Le Papier Fait de la Resistance A5 notebook, French-themed greetings cards and envelopes, 1920s French banking ephemera bookmarks, brass page markers and, as usual, four postcards illustrated by young artists.
I loved this box. I’d been interested in the Calepino products for some time; the notebook was new to me; the postcards are always interesting; and the cards and bookmarks are things that I would never buy but am really glad to have. A perfect mixture.
If this has whetted your appetite then head over to now and use the special code PPP15 to get 15% off your first box.
