Reeds I Limited Edition Giclée Prints
27 June 2022I’ve been spending a lot of time looking at plants on beaches and riverbanks and I think I’ll be spending quite a lot of time drawing some of these this year. Currently, I’m working on the third of my Reeds series and I hope to have this finished fairly soon.

In the meantime, I’m releasing a limited edition giclée print run (of twenty prints) of Reeds I.
The common reed (phragmites australis) has had a link with humans for centuries. In the UK we tend to think of it primarily as a source of thatch but it’s almost completely edible too. It contains a lot of natural sugar which can be used to make sweets, the young shoots can be stir-fried and the roots can be eaten.
Reeds I prints are £55 which includes shipping in the UK (or with reduced overseas shipping) and can be found here. They are gallery quality giclée prints, signed and numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
