Kaweco Denim Pouch and Ice Sport Fountain Pen Giveaway

Kaweco Denim Pouch pen poking out

Kaweco have made leather pouches for their Sport pens for some time now but this denim one is brand new.

It’s made from denim (obviously) with high quality stitching and lovely attention to detail. It’s also available in black.

You can put two Sport pens in but it will also hold a single pen nice and snug. They’re unlikely to fall out but if you put two pens in, they’ll rub against each other, particularly when you’re putting them in or taking them out.

Time will tell how robust this pouch is. First impressions are that it’s well made and unlikely to unravel. However, I didn’t want to put it through its paces too much because I want to give this pouch away to one lucky reader.

Not only that but I’m also giving away the blue Ice Sport fountain pen (with a fine nib) you can see in photos. This is brand new and never been inked.

The Denim Pouch is hard to get hold of at the moment, being such a new product, so this is your chance to be one of the first to own one. To enter, please leave a comment on this post saying thank you to someone you know. Random.org will be used to pick a lucky winner. The giveaway closes at 15:00 GMT on Sunday 21st February.

  1. Oh wow, what a lovely set! I’ve never had a Kaweco but I’ve long admired Sports owned by friends.

If it’s anyone I’d have to thank my partner of 14 years, Vicky. I just can’t imagine a life without her would be worth living.

  2. It’s a lovely pouch, and very generous of you to offer both as a giveaway. Thank you for the chance! Now if Kaweco would only make some larger ones that hold multiple pens…

  3. Its really hard to find a Kaweco here in Brazil, I’ve never had one and thats a really nice pouch!
I’ll take the cue from Weird and thank my wife for giving me a wonderful son and tolerate my idiosyncrasies and nonsences over the last six years.

  4. Great giveaway. Thank you for running it. I’d like to thank my wonderful wife who is my biggest supporter in all my crazy ideas.

  5. I’d like to thank my long-suffering husband for putting up with, and actually encouraging, my crafty hobbies/addictions. Thank you to you and Kaweco for this lovely giveaway, too.

  6. What a great competition Ian. Thank you for putting these up for us all to try and win. Thanks also to all the great stationery bloggers out there for all your great work.

  7. I’d like to thank my mother for taking care of my sister for 18 months during her cancer treatment. Without her, my sister would have suffered so much more and likely would have not survived as long as she did.

  8. This looks very nice. Useful, too.

I would thank God for the blessing of two sons, now grown up, good men, who nevertheless still seem to like me.

  9. That pouch looks absolutely brilliant, makes a nice ‘casual’ change from the leather pen slips that have flooded the market. Thanks to you for providing this giveaway Ian, and thanks to my family for always encouraging me to pursue my hobbies and dreams.

  10. What an awesome color!!! Blue is my favorite and I’ve been dying to try a Kaweco.

  21. Thank you to my wife for putting up with all my hobbies and collecting. Or as she would call it hoarding.

  22. That’s one sweet looking set! Thanks, Ian for being an enabler in the community. And thanks to my hubby for not saying a word about the influx of fountain pens and related paraphernalia in our home….

  23. What a nice looking pen and pouch. I would like to thank my wife for putting up with me for the last 20 years.

  24. I would like to say “thank you” to my two friends who have helped to reboot the #stationerylovers ethos. It’s a great collaboration to be a part of.

  26. thank you for the giveaway.

It would be great to have a nice case and an even nicer pen.

Thank you as well to my wife who supports and tollerates my habbit

  27. I always have trouble saying no to Kaweco…I must have half a dozen Sports by now and am still hungry for more. The pouch looks awesome! I’m not generally into the individual pen holster approach to storage (pen/pencil cases of 20+ capacity are more my jam), but this is a pretty unique product.

There are an awful lot of people who I could thank, but today I feel most indebted to my dog – for seeing me through some of the darkest times of my life, and bringing me as much cheer as I could bear.

  28. Awesome GAW! I’d like to thank my girlfriend for all of her love and support – she knows that I have no plans to give up this addiction. Yet, somewhere, she finds it in her heart to love and tolerate me.

  29. I’m in Canada. Can I enter this great give-away? In any case, I want to thank our American neighbours for helping us keep the light of Freedom burning bright- without actually invading us. =)

PS Do stay away from our maple syrup stockpiles, eh. We mean business. And don’t touch our beavers! =P

  30. I’d like to thank my family – wife and 3 kids – for putting up with and supporting a husband / father whose job involves a lot of time serving other people. [And thanks to Ian / Kaweco for the give-away!]

  31. Thanks for a chance to win a pen I’ve been reading so much about.
And thanks to my dog, “Scruff” for getting me out for a walk come rain, wind and hail!

  32. Thank you to my friend for becoming such a dick. You’ve helped me to realise that I am no longer the person who will metaphorically crawl over broken glass to apologise or beg forgiveness even when I’m not in the wrong.
Thank you for helping me discover how much stronger I am now. I wouldn’t have realised that if it weren’t for you.

  33. I want to thank my colleagues who last night really made me feel much more confident, supported and hopeful about the future of my career. Thank you!

I am really thankful for my boyfriend for buying me my first fountain pen several years ago; this was a blessing and a curse.
