About

I am a graphite fine artist based in Dorset. My work connects the beauty surrounding us in the natural world with the beauty that is within us all. I have been drawing all my life and since around 2020 have been exhibiting and selling my work, which has been bought by collectors in the UK, the USA and across Europe.

I’m an associate member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art.

I work almost exclusively with wooden pencils on paper. No other medium makes me feel as connected to what I’m doing. I build my pictures up with thousands upon thousands of tiny little marks, giving them a vibrancy that can often be missing from traditional pencil drawings.

I strongly believe that art is a force for positive change. My work aims to help us as individuals through a mindful and gentle beauty. I am developing ways of using art to support people with their mental health, including workshops as part of a social prescribing project and a project with young men who are recovering from addiction and homelessness. I also use proceeds from sales to donate to good causes and have been able to support the RNLI, the British Red Cross and the Lantern Trust.
