Thomas Hardy’s Cottage

Pencil picture of Thomas Hardy’s cottage

Thomas Hardy described Dorset incredibly beautifully and there are still a lot of places that are much as they were when he was writing about them over a hundred years ago. You can stand on a heath and almost see the people from Return of the Native moving about in front of you. This cottage is when Hardy was born and grew up, and where his mother lived all her life.
The original has been sold but I have some prints still available to buy.
