Kokuyo NeoCritz Transformer pencil case review

When I first saw the name of this I got entirely the wrong idea about what Transformer meant. I had visions of robots and terrible sequels and never being able to get the toys back the way they were. Fortunately I eventually worked out that these were something different.

The transformation comes when you peel back the top half of the open pencil case to turn it into a stand. Quite a sturdy stand, too.

This is really rather useful when out drawing. (I imagine it would be useful on a desk, too.) Also useful is the fact that this is made from very strong waterproof material that also has a little padding for added protection.

As you can see, this pen case holds an inordinate number of pens and pencils. It’s about up to capacity here.

There is a very useful little pocket in the front that can hold a small eraser and pencil sharpener.

There is also a special bonus pocket at the side here that I didn’t find until I was doing this review, despite having had this pencil case for a good six months or so.

There are better cases out there for pens. After all, pens in here touch!! But as a pencil case, for use out and about in the wilds of the West Country, this is perfect.
